It's about time....

I guess this is old news as it's been on the TV all day but I just found out moments ago. O.J. was convicted on all counts in his kidnapping and robbery trial. I find it kind of ironic that he could get away with murder, of which he clearly is guilty of, but that he couldn't get away with this. Supposedly he could be put away for life... that remains to be seen... we can only be hopeful!! This whole thing kind of reminds me of Al Capone. They couldn't convict him of murder so they put him away on tax evasion. I bet O.J. has a lot to think about tonight.

It's good news as far as I am concerned. Also regarding the number 13..
jurors deliberated 13 hours.
crime commited on Sept 13.

I found it odd how unemotional he was when he was convicted. I am glad the guilt caught up with him.

bad people like him usually don't change their behavior - they tend to repeat their bad choices. I'm glad he'll be locked up for a long time!

I'm not a big believer in "karma". However,.....

I was thinking about the karma thing to while watching the news reports. Yes it is certainly about time.

I agree with the karma comment, sometimes it takes a long time, but it will happen. Now he has all the time in the world to think about what he did, though he'll probably just think about how he got caught.

I was talking to Mike about the jury and if it were really possible for him to get a fair trial anywhere in the world. While it was pretty clear cut that he did it, there is no one that doesn't know about the murder trial. While I would like to believe that if I were a juror I would focus on only the facts at hand and not consider what he got away with 13 years ago, there's got to be a tiny voice in your mind somewhere. KWIM?
