It's been a crazy busy week at work. I go to work in the dark and come home in the dark. I'm missing my family, my birds and my blogging..... I have a few hours off of work his morning before I head back in again so I thought I'd do a quick post.
Here is Mr. Cardinal that I captured at Sarett last weekend. I could say that this photo was in honor of the Super Bowl this Sunday, that is if anyone in our house watched football. Are we considered un-American because we don't watch football? Sue at work was talking about the Super Bowl this week. Our conversation went something like this:
Sue: The Super Bowl is Sunday
Jessica: Who is playing in the Super Bowl this year?
Sue: The Steelers and The Cardinals.
Jessica: OK, I'll cheer for the Cardinals because they are a bird.
Sue: I should have known!

lol! My approach to football too. I never understood the game, or cared to figure it out. minestin
YOur cardinal was so red and handsome!
I'm rooting for the Steelers - only because I perceive them to be closer to our town and more of a midwest team. However, I will not be watching as we only get 2 channels at the log cabin - ha,ha!
I'm not much of a sports fan in general. Chris will probably watch the game, but neither of us are into the hype. Pretty cardinal. (birds are more interesting than sports!)
Yep, I had to look it up to see when it was on. The commercials are worth it sometimes. :)
yeah my sport is hockey - GO WINGS!!! Your better than I am until I read your post I didn't realize the Steelers were playing. My hubby is not a sports fan so no clues here. We caught a brief glimpse of a promo the other day and thought the Cardinals and the Patriots were playing. I would be routing for the Cardinals in that lineup for other reasons (family poking) as well as your reasoning. Enjoy the weekend.
Beautiful picture. My conversation would have gone much like yours.
Blessings,Ruth
My home team (Ravens- another bird!) almost made it to the Superbowl. I'm not a football fan, but would have gotten caught up in it if they had been in it.
...and it would have been a problem for you if it were the Ravens and the Cardinals. Which bird to root for?
