Missing my hubby

Craig is in Mexico all this week on the far west coast.  He's there on a pit crew team for the Baja 1000.  I am used to Craig traveling with his job but I am not used to him being out of the country.  I know it's only Mexico but I'm still having thoughts of him getting robbed or being thrown into some Mexican jail somewhere.... I know, my mind gets carried away!  And it doesn't help that the cell phone service is so limited that contact is minimal all week.  He'll be home Monday... come home safe Honey!

We are here to keep you company :D

I had to deal with that alot and that was before the cell phones were around. I'll say an extra prayer for him and your family.

I know he will be safe! My hubby (who is hispanic) travels to mexico frequently for business. Plus his parents were born there and he has been all over - nothing bad has ever happened. I'll add an extra prayer too!

Stay safe, Craig! We're sending him safe thoughts.

That said ... enjoy your free time where you can eat things he doesn't particularly care for, read all night in bed if you want and hog ALL the covers and then be very thankful when he's home and you get to share it all again.

I'm sure he pretty much sticks with his buddies and will be fine. Reminds me of out son flying to Honduras for a week about a month ago - that lack of communication is a bit tough.

I have a close friend that lives in San Diego. She visits Mexico all the time and feels safe there. Craig will be back home safely, before you know it.

He'll be home before you know it. He'll probably have some great stories to tell, too.

My family have lived in Mexico for 30 years now and while they have had a few interesting encounters have been quite safe. Our daughter has been there for 2 years now and travels by bus all over by herself (as does my mother who is 76 years old) People who get into trouble there are often careless.
