First Snow

God painted a beautiful picture last night. We woke up to the first snow of the season. Craig had this job to do before he left for work.But it doesn't bother him in the least bit... see the smile!And this was the sight outside the kitchen window.
I think winter is my favorite time to photograph the birds. I love the snow in the photos and no leaves on the trees to hide the birds.
I opened the kitchen window and screen, then sat on the floor for a photo shoot with the birds.
It worked perfect. I got some great shots.
The birds are out in flocks today. It must be the snow.
I already filled the hopper feeder once this morning and now I need to fill it again already.
They know who offers the best seed in town!
My elegant Blue Jay.

Jordan is home from school today with a nasty cold. Zoe is making her feel better by snuggling with her all day...

Those are amazing shots of the birds. I especially love the one where there is a bird on every perch of the feeder. But they all are wonderful photos.
Hope Jordan feels better. A little pug love always helps!

We have lots of snow here too. Your bird pictures are still much clearer than mine. Does your camera take a higher resolution than 6m? I hope Jordan feels better soon.

Hi Pigeon.. My camera is a 8 megapixel. For my bird photos I usually switch to my zoom lens which is a 75 to 300 mm zoom.

The first snow is exciting;
by the second, I've had enough. LOL

Love all your birdy photos! The first photo with the berries should be framed - turned out wonderful!
