What Next??

As if fighting the squirrels and raccoons isn't enough, now I have a new visitor at my bird feeders. Mr. Groundhog has been visiting for the last few weeks. He's a big one but very skittish. The pictures are cloudy because I had to take the pictures through the back door screen. If he detects the slightest sound or movement he's gone. The squirrels are the opposite. They just taunt me and laugh at me. I can get within a foot of them and then they just slowly meander a few feet away.
He's pretty harmless. I guess I don't mind sharing the peanuts with him. He can't get up onto the hanging feeders like the other nuisance animals so I'll tolerate him.... what choice do I have?

He's a cute nuisance, I'll give him that! What a pudgy guy!
Tell Seadra and Zoe to stay away from him!

It looked like the squirrel and the ground hog were going to have a face off in the 1st photo!

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
I don't understand why they are also called groundhogs?
He is cute.

I really like the first pic of the groundhog and the squirrel. I didn't even notice the squirrel at first, I was so focused in on the groundhog. I personally enjoy feeding all the animals. I have bunnies, squirrels, raccoons, and of course birds.

Maybe since you saw the groundhog we will get an extra six weeks of Summer.

I'm guessing he saw his shadow. How can you miss a shadow that big?
