Where did you learn about feeding jelly to the birds?

It's in all my bird books and catalogs. They even sell special feeders for feeding jelly to Orioles. I just made mine out of an old hummingbird feeder by taking the lid off of it.
The Orioles aren't the only one's eating the jelly. I was really surprised to see my Rose Breasted Grosbeaks and Finches enjoying it too.
I may have to try this jelly thing. Would love to see an oriole in these parts.
