TODAY to buy myself a new good old fashion can opener!!! The manual kind that you crank with your hands. I can't tell you how many times I have been in this situation in the last few years. We have one of those "gizmo" electric can openers. It works pretty well....
if people remember to put it back on the charger. And I will admit that I am guilty of this too. It took me 10 minutes and multiple tools to try and get my can of tomatoes opened.
But alls well that ends well. My beef stew is in the crock pot and dinner will be ready at 6:00.
